What About the Muslim Student Association (MSA), Islam's Student Clubs on USA Campuses Many Muslim Student Associations exist on today's campus's around the country, These chapters are effective as they steer a plethora of special committees and "Political Action Task Forces." There is considerable evidence that the MSA, is an overtly political organization seeking to create a single Muslim movement on U.S. campuses, promoting Wahhabism, anti-Americanism, and anti-Semitism; agitating aggressively against U.S. Middle East policy, and expressing solidarity with militant Islamist ideologies, sometimes with criminal results. Europe's Debate Regarding Sharia (Islamic-Law) Islam has transformed into a political issue for social, rather than legal, reasons, four of which are introduced below. First, adherence to Islamic law appears to emphasize Muslims as “foreign” within a geographic region that is striving to achieve a shared sense of European identity. Second, Islamic law’s religious basis offends and seems to threaten the rapid secularization of Europe. Third, and perhaps most importantly, the influence of shari’a law within a legal system heightens the public’s security concerns of radicalization and terrorism. Fourth, it is crucial to understand what the debate about shari’a is framed. Islamic-Law-Europes-Sharia-Debate.pdf Adobe Acrobat document [361.8 KB]

Muslim Girls "Rights" under Sharia It is common practice in Yemen to marry girls as young as 8. In Somalia, Sudan and Egypt almost 80% of teenage girls are subject to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation), to reduce their sexual pleasure and drive. In Afghanistan and large parts of Pakistan Muslim girls must be covered from teenage years up to old age to prevent men from being seduced by their beauty. Also, women and young girls are denied education as during the Taliban regime. All over the Muslim world “Honor killings” are common. Teenager girls are killed for refusing to marry someone, or disobeying an older brother’s instructions, etc. Muslim-Girls-Rights.pdf Adobe Acrobat document [330.1 KB]
